The idea of I heart SY was initiated in Oswestry, in November 2011, when Chris Langston & Alex Fairclough were trying to find out when the local fireworks displays were. They found that, due to living on the borders of several counties, it was very difficult to find relevant up-to-date information.
With help from Blue, and local volunteers, they created I heart SY magazine which encompasses cross-border news, events and information.
I heart SY (Shropshire postcode) is the Shropshire issue of I heart magazine and has a readership from Shrewsbury, Nesscliffe Villages, Four Crosses, Welshpool & Llanffylin, to Llangollen, Overton, Wrexham & Chester - and everywhere in between.
The magazine currently has a 10,000 distribution which includes local businesses, third and public sectors, and door-to-door.
